4. Audio Processing & Data Retention
This is a core part of how Summa is designed.
- Audio recordings are ingested for processing only
- Transcripts may be temporarily generated to extract meaning
After processing:
- Recordings are discarded
- Transcripts are not retained as long-term records
What remains is:
- Structured business outputs (summaries, action items, insights)
Summa is not designed to store or act as an archive of conversations.
5. Business-Only Focus
Summa is designed for business-relevant analysis only.
- We do not aim to capture or preserve casual conversation
Outputs are focused on:
- decisions
- responsibilities
- next steps
- relevant customer context
6. Third-Party Integrations
If you connect third-party services (such as Gmail or Salesforce):
- We access only the data required to perform the requested action

- Drafting emails in Gmail
- Writing structured notes to Salesforce
We do not access unrelated data from those services.
